Javier, To communicate with the mote (mica2, micaz, iris), a wire-ended USB to TTL cable should suffice (FTDI TTL-232R-3V3-WE). You will need to add a femail 51-pin connector at the end.
However, this approach or the ones that you are suggesting will _not_ allow programming the mote. You will need the mib520 for that (or any other AVR programmer with a proper connector to the mote).
