Hello all, it's first time here.

I am playing with the TestFtsp application on TinyOS 2.1.1 using MicaZ and the
32KHz timer precision, having an average error of around 100 microseconds in my
experiments (3-4 clock ticks).

I have learned that FTSP can have precision in the microsecond range, so I
searched the mailing list archives about having that precision in MicaZ
platform. They seems contradictory. Here are some of the results:

not possible (in TMote)

only 32KHz precision is possible (no HIL component providing T32khz)
http://mail.millennium.berkeley.edu/pipermail/tinyos-help/2009-February/038482.html

possible with 1.21 microsecond average error after bug fix:

ported microsecond FTSP in MicaZ (possible)
http://mail.millennium.berkeley.edu/pipermail/tinyos-help/2008-March/031906.html

Can I confirm if it is really possible or not to have microsecond precision of
FTSP in MicaZ? If it's possible, can you help me with the steps on how to
change the TestFtsp application in order to support it? It looks like the
supported is only the TMilli and T32KHz precision.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank You!
