Hi Nico, I do know that Stephen (the principal) has done alot of work on BLIP 2.0 and it has been merged into the main SVN T2 trunk.
I would suggest starting there because it is the most current. I don't know how well it has been tested. It is fairly young but I do know that a bunch of work was done on it prior to merging it in off its branch. YMWV (your mileage will vary).
