I went to docs.tinyos.net and did a search for "localtime". It found the following page:
http://docs.tinyos.net/tinywiki/index.php/Boomerang_Measure_Time It talks about what to do on the tmote platform. The Tmote is exactly the same as the telosb. Actually, the Tmote Sky is exactly the same as the telosb. (Tmote was a commercialization of the telosb, Crossbow also commercialized the telosb. Both are now long gone but the h/w still exists). Anyway the above web page shows how to wire things up to get a LocalTime.
