Hi all, I've just experienced a major failure of my testbed mad of two independent WSN
Each WSN is made of 60 telosb mote and one gateway. The application running on telosb is a well tested customization of the UDPEcho application which uses the Blip stack. Two days ago both networks froze, approximately at the same time for 8 hours (form 1am to 9am). The following day, again, both networks froze from 2:30am to 8am. Both days, both WSN recovered automatically!!! The two WSN are totally independent and are working on separate channel. One on channel 15 and the other on channel 21. They have been working without showing any problem for more than 7 months. I had a look to the statistic packets and I found many "L2 frags dropped due to link failures" Do you have any idea what could have happened here? Any one of you had similar experience? Is it just coincidence? My only thought goes to a wide spectrum jamming but it doesn't make much sense... I'm astonished! Any idea is more than welcome.
