Thanks for the clarification. My initial thought was that there is a bigger epic based mote somewhere, but this is not correct.
Compiling the same program for the telosb with ‘make telosb blip’ fails with an overflow error. Although both motes have a MSP430F1611 mcu. But the small difference in code size is probably due to the other chips on the board. BR Hugo
