Yes I have found that this is an ENORMOUS problem. Something about the way we educate our youngsters teaches them the exact opposite of the true message. Asking good questions are much more indicative of learning than parroting the right answers (to paraphrase Postman & Weingarten.) Our students unlearn their natural curiosity before the end of elementary school.
