There is a difference between discussing the psychology of religion and disputing the doctrines of religion. I saw your attack on Christianity as a tangent to the discussion. You used a discussion to go off and take shots. Perhaps I should have just responded privately, but since you chose to attack publicly, I thought a public response was also appropriate. Clearly that did nothing to reduce your level of animosity, particularly toward something you still do not understand. If you wish a private dialogue (no proseltyzing, just conversing), please let me know. Otherwise, I shall leave you be. And I too wish to refrain from clogging up the list with theological issues that don't relate to the teaching of psychology.
