There is no passage that reads literally "Hate the sin, love the sinner."

It is a biblical principle (note I used the word "admonition," not "verse" or
"passage") borne out of verses that speak on
how one should regard "sin" and how one should regard the "sinner" (which
includes all of peoplekind, Christian or not).

Two examples from the Old Testament, or Hebrew Bible:

1. Leviticus 19:17 "Do not hate your brother in your heart. Rebuke your
neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt."

In other words, separate the behavior from the person. Distance yourself
from the transgression, but not from the transgressor.

2. Proverbs "To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil
behavior and perverse speech."

If you love the Lord, you will despise what the Lord despises.

Then we move on to Jesus' teachings:

1. Matthew 5:43-44 "You have heard that it was said, `Love your neighbor
and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those
who persecute you"

Jesus flattens the oral tradition by commanding people to make no
distinction between friend and enemy in how they should be treated.

2. Luke 6:27 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to
those who hate you"

Same thought, different verse

And from one of his apostles:

1. 1 John 2:9 1 "Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother
is still in the darkness."

If you're a Christian ("in the light') there is nothing Christlike about hating
another.

2. 1 John 3:15 " Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know
that no murderer has eternal life in him."

Even more radical. The apostle John actually teaches that hating someone
in your heart is just like killing him, and no Christian ought to respond this
way.

"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble
themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from
their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and
will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
  2 Chronicles 7:14
