    And they _were_ more popular! Since when are religious leaders popular in
their own time?

    Interesting tid-bit on George Harrison that involved religion. Soon after
he did "My Sweet Lord" he was sued for plagarizing the old pop song "He's So
Fine." The lawyers in court were holding up the 3 notes from each song on big
placards to the jury - and indeed they were identical. He lost the case, and
I remember him, interviewed, saying that if he stole anything it was the flow
and spirit of the gospel song "Oh Happy Day" despite the difference in notes.
The style and flow of "He's So Fine" was totally different from his song.
