Paul Smith: isn't Alverno College a Catholic College?
I got my BA from a Catholic College in Erie,Pa now named
Gannon University.And I could swear we had moments of silence and other
classroom disruptions for all kinds happenings in the Erie diocese.
Don't forget that I spent 1 year at the Abbey of Gethsemani studying
to be a Trappist monk.Thomas Merton and I were buddies (Silently).
This is all irrelevant and justifies not your use of disrespectful language towards someone based on their beliefs. Being good buddies with Thomas Merton is not carte blanche for insulting the Christians on this list. Paul Smith's affiliation with a Catholic school has nothing to do with it.
I suspect that what makes your use of such insulting terminology even more difficult to stomach is that you are constantly and self-righteously taking the rest of us to task for our eurocentrism (whether or not your accusations are true, you lump us all together.) Smacks of hypocrisy to me.
