Subject: Unusual grading methods

Do you care to share some of the unusual grading methods (fact or fiction)
you have heard of?
One I have heard of but unable to verify is that of the prof who stands on
the top of the stairs and throws all the term papers up in the
air.Apparently the heavier papers will navigate to the bottom steps
and those will be assigned A s.

And while on this subject (free associating),do you have a tendency to
give papers that are typed higher grades than handwritten ones?
