I've had students use this assignment in Abnormal Psych. having students analyze characters in movies. I think I like the idea of characters from novels, but I KNOW what I'd hear: "A book? Can we use a book we've already read, or do we HAVE to read a new one for this assignment?" (As if I'd ever be able to tell.)
I'm teaching Personality for the first time in April, so would also appreciate any suggestions...
