ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: WASHINGTON & JEFFERSON COLLEGE, ("W&J") invites
applications for a three-year leave replacement position to commence in Fall
2002. Pending final approval, we seek a broadly trained experimentalist
interested in teaching undergraduate students and involving these students
in research. Area is open with applications welcome from any one of the
following specialties: learning, cognition, cognitive neuroscience, and
clinical-developmental. We are interested in candidates with a general
background in psychology and demonstrated teaching excellence. Although the
Ph.D. is preferred, applicants who are within months of completing the
doctorate will be considered. Familiarity with information technology is
highly desirable. Teaching opportunities include Elementary Psychology, a
course in the candidate�s area of emphasis and interdisciplinary courses
according to the needs of the College. A letter of application, current CV,
statement of teaching philosophy and names and telephone numbers of 3
