Tipsters, Our college of Arts and Behavioral Sciences has been seeking
nominations for an endowed chair in ethics and public policy. I feel
that psychologists and psychological research is increasingly relevant
to such areas, and the Dean has also requested that I seek out
psychology folks. For example, work on violence, terrorism, war,
conflict, etc., have been topics of psychological study and theory. I
can even think of some tipsters who might be interested and competent in
these areas and hope they read this. If you can think of anyone in
psych who could teach a couple of classes pertaining to the ethical and
public policy dimensions of psych research and theory and would not be
humiliated by the $100,000 per year salary, or above coming to a
vibrant, but mere 9000 study body environment, please let me know, or
have them contact me. Gary Peterson
