While we're on cogntiive texts, I'd like others' views on human memory texts. I have to pick one ASAP for next semester. I've probably used every one on the market and like none of them but have to pick one of them soon so maybe I've missed some redeeming quality in one of them.
My biggest problem is that so many of the newer ones are either clearly meant to do double duty with graduate level courses or focus minimally on fundamentals and extensively on applications. I LOVED the old Zechmeister and Nyberg but it's been out of print for 20 years :-( So I'd like to hear others' comments....
