I won't argue whether people were more "civilized" than they are now (heck, I'm still
not convinced that Western civilization will ever occur). Will argue that the text
and maybe even drawing images of the pre 1930's literature have a far different effect
than the graphic visual images of today's movies and television.
but that's just my opinion...or is it?
