A couple
months ago we had some discussions about course evaluations and someone
mentioned that they had added a sentence to their evals that read something
like, "What have you done to help make the course a better educational
experience for yourself?" As I recall, the purpose of this was to
help the students take ownership for their role in the educational
process. Does anyone on the list remember the exact way that question was
worded? I've tried searching the archives but couldn't find
anything.
