Rod Hetzel asked:
What are your policies for the types of references
that students can use in literature reviews? Do you allow websites or other online references? Although I'm just a novice at teaching, I picked up
an easy way to resolve this issue from a former instructor. I simply
require the students to submit hard copies of the minimally acceptable number of
articles for my approval early in the semester. That way I can "explain"
the difference between peer-reviewed journals and the other options while the
student is really interested in understanding the difference.
