The Wall is not a racist rock song. It sounds like it was written by a schizophrenic on LSD with some paranoid overtones. I cannot for the life of me figure out what significance it might have to hate groups, but it was one of the most popular songs for the disaffected, geeky youth of the 70s. It most closely resemble Jefferson Airplane crossed with Mitch Ryderl and the Detroit Wheels. Or Jefferson Airplane mixed with early punk (Sex Pistols). Notice I wrote Jefferson Airplane not Jefferson Starship, a distinction that only my generation will appreciate. Go White Rabbit. Think Psychedelic Furs for the more recent folks,
