Hi all, I have taught a course in sleep and dreams, and have used Hobson's book (Sleep) as well. I taught it as an upper level class, and students were required to read and discuss primary journal articles to supplement the textbook.
You can find a copy of my syllabus at http://users.ipfw.edu/silvesta/PSY392/syllabus.htm Also, a number of prominent sleep researchers (Mary Carskadon at Brown, Bill Dement at Stanford, and Dick Bootzin at U Arizona) also teach classes on sleep and dreaming. While I don't have web addresses for their syllabi handy, you can probably find them with a quick google search. Best of luck with the class, and have fun! Amy Silvestri Amy J.
