Re: recommend book on reconciling religion/science/academia?

My father was a southern Baptist Minister.  My struggle with religious 
dogma was long and hard.  Phillips book YOUR GOD IS TOO SMALL was the 
one book that helped me through the maelstrom along with Buber's book "I
