Okay, I'll bite.

On my undergraduate side, I was a student of Dr. Michael Noonan, Canisius College. He was a student of Hans Esch, who was a student of Karl von Frisch. So on my undergraduate side, I go back to one of the founding European ethologists, a Noble Prize winner, in fact.

On my graduate side, I was a student of Dr. G.D. Mitchell, University of California--Davis. Mitchell was a student of Harry Harlow's, who was a student of C.P. Stone's, who was a student of Karl Lashley's, who was a student of John Watson's, who was a student of James Angell's, who was a student of William James--one of the founders of American psychology.

Since I am an animal behaviorist by training, I consider this to be a very appropriate family tree!:-)
