This summer, for the first time since 1997, I'm going to teach again. I'd like to have a Web page, as I did in 1997. The difference between now and 1997 is that I will no longer try to code all my html in WordPerfect 5.0 for DOS.
So which software are you Tipsters using to maintain your Web pages? Is there anything I should seek or avoid? My preferred platform is Mac Os X.

Dreamweaver is my app of choice for this. You still need to know some HTML (you always do). Go Live has too many darn palettes (the Adobe motif, I know) and Front Page has too many limitations re: browser compatibilities.
For the best help available on Dreamweaver, buy yourself Lynda Weinman's "Dreamweaver Hands-on-Training book (Dreamweaver H.O.T.--available from Amazon or from lynda.com/books). She is very thorough and easy to follow. I highly recommend her books for all web apps. She was the favorite author among those texts read in my Webmaster's course.
Good luck!:-) --Kathy Morgan Wheaton College Norton, MA 02766
