I’m trying to collect some data on how (or whether) institutions compensate faculty for supervising undergraduate independent research projects. I’d appreciate it if you could take a minute to answer the following questions (please respond to me directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED]):
- does your institution compensate you (either financially or with course release) for supervising undergrad independent research projects;
- if so, how does the compensation work;
- and if so, are there different plans in different arts and science departments.
