Actually, it isn't censorship. What's happening is a spam filter
is catching words such as "sex" and "incest" and rejecting the messages as
spam instead of valid content. The trick is to exclude lists such as TIPS
from your filter completely (it can be done by running the spam controls)
as well as excluding email from anyone on your address list. That way, the
content of legitimate email will get through while the spam goes into the
trash instead of wasting your time.
A great program for doing that, by the way, is Mozilla. It's a
vastly better package than Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Outlook
Express (and at least equal to Outlook itself), includes a very good (and
simple) html composer and an irc client--and it's free. The browser can be
set to automatically block out pop-ups (a _very_ nice feature), cookies,
undesired active-x controls, and redirection and it has a much cleaner and
better designed look than IE. If anyone feels like trying it, the program
is available for download from http://www.mozilla.org
Just think--with proper spam filters in place, only your friends
and colleagues can call you an s.o.b. (more verbosely) without having
their messages deleted! Progress!!!
