Reference the anomalous disclosure paragraph on Medscape relating to
Peter/Thomas Kramer, I have not yet received a response to my query from
Dr Robert Kennedy, the site director of Medscape, but I also emailed
Thomas A. M. Kramer, who tells me that the disclosure in question relates
to Peter D. Kramer and not to himself. He has contacted Dr Kennedy to ask
him to correct the error.

I have been awaiting a direct response from Dr Kennedy, hoping for an
explanation of how the error occurred. In reply to a second email I sent
to Thomas Kramer, he told me that he had received a very brief response
from Dr Kennedy saying they were aware of the problem and were fixing it.
Dr Kramer added that Dr Kennedy is very involved (stressed is the way he
put it!) at the moment with the American Psychiatric Association meetings
that start on Saturday, and that he expects him to reply to my email at
some point.

I also asked Thomas Kramer about any pharmalogical connections he has
currently, or in the past. He told me that prior to 2000 he did some
sponsored research and consulting to various pharmaceutical agencies when
he lived in Little Rock, Arkansas, but when he started work for the
American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Chicago in 2000 he cut all
ties to pharmacology companies. Since he left the Board in 2003 and
started working for Medscape (for money previously his writings for
Medscape had been pro bono) he says he has done one talk for Abbott and a
few for Pfizer. He writes: I refuse to do any talks that I do not have
complete control of the content of.
