But if you’re going to use the 4th edition of Sekuler and Blake (Perception), be sure to read the list of errata from the publisher’s web site (http://www.mhhe.com/sekuler4). This text is littered with really bad errors. I chose it because it seemed to be a nice balance between Goldstein (which I’d like to use, but our undergrads get very little physiology in my dept., and so I fear this text would cause their heads to explode) and Schiffman (which is a nice text, but covers very little physiology). I’ll probably choose a new text for next year—I’m underwhelmed by Sekuler & Blake.
