It also appears to be light or contrast dependent. Try viewing it
in a dimly lit room then try again in a well lighted one. In the dimly lit
room it will appear much more "active" in its movements, and in the bright
one it may seem not to move at all!

Well, I tried it w/o my glasses (and I have an astigmatism in one eye and
20/200 vision in the other eye) and still saw the illusion. However, when
I closed one eye and looked at it, the illusion went away. Anyone else
notice that it seems to be binocular? Or is it just me?
