The University of West FLA had to close because of damage from Ivan and will not open until October 5th http://uwf.edu/uwfMain/hurricane/ Can you imagine the headache for all involved?
There is a picture gallery that shows some of the damage to the institutions' buildings, dorms, and offices. By one account, 95% of the buildings suffered some damage.
