Students love Funder's text titled "The Personality Puzzle" and Funder
& Ozer's "Pieces of the Personality Puzzle", which is an anthology of
the primary literature (starts off with McAdams) and is easily
coordinated with Funder's text. The students like the text better than
the primary readings, not unsurprisingly, but the two together make for
a great semester of reading for a personality course.

I'm going to be teaching personality in the spring, and am looking for
textbook recommendations. I really like McAdams The Person, but I'd
like to hear other ideas as well.
If you know of a good book that covers, or has readings from, a good
selection of personality theorists that is NOT a textbook, that would
be even better.
