Our institution will pay for the students
to take the GRE subject test if they send a score report to us. This obviously
only assesses the students who are considering grad school. But student motivation
is high. Joe Joseph J. Horton Ph. D. 724-458-2004 In God we trust. All others must bring

[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi,
TIPSters, Our
administration wants us to use a nationally-normed test of psychology to assess
our graduating seniors. Apparently, in the past, not much rhyme, reason, or
motivation was given to students to take the test, so they didn't prepare for
it and thus tended to do quite poorly. Have any of your institutions had
this problem? Suggestions for ways to encourage the students to take it more
seriously? THANKS
for your help. Rory
