P. S.  If you go to Gerry's web site, you will also see some research we 
having been doing with IRBs and the problems that can arise.  The IRB-RAT 
page does not work right now--but it will in couple of hours.  I was going 
to post something about that soon because IRBs seem to be a recurring 
interest here.  Also a cautionary piece on EVTs--which many think is about 
where things really are when it comes to psychotherapy.

As a close friend and working colleague of Dr. Koocher's for over 30 
years, I just have to respond to this thread, which is going off in a most 
unfair direction, both to Gerry for sure, and IMO to APA.  (Stephen--the 
guy who took time to help you out is exactly how you should remember 
him! )  Gerry should not be judged by his interest in sharing "all sides 
of all stories."
