Actually, I'm not sure that this stands.
Aliens, mind reading and mental control all involve presently unknown (and thus unlikely) but at least potentially identifiable natural causes.
Divine intervention, on the other hand, is by definition supernatural and thus inherently beyond explanation by natural law.
