Annette, Our institution is a public state university with 7500
students. We have some masters programs, but no doctoral programs. We
do not have a masters program in psychology. Our university can best
be described as a mixture of liberal arts and several professional
programs (e.g., nursing, education, applied computer science, etc.).
Our mission is to serve the citizens of west Georgia, although we do
have many students from out of state. We are not considered
a "research university". Teaching is the primary mission. We share a
department with the Sociology program which has 120 majors and three
FT faculty. The university is growing rapidly and expects to reach
10,000 students within the next 10 years.

Mark
