Stephen,

Not only in Kansas, but in the land of Pat Robinson and Jerry Falwell
too, http://tinyurl.com/ah87h. This story from the sometimes ironically
named Lynchburg News and Advance reports a bill expected to passed in
the Virginia House today. The bill would allow school boards to ban
organizations from using high school facilities if they promote sexual
activity by unmarried minor students. It is unlikely a coincidence that
the targeted groups support gay and lesbian teenagers.

Alerted through another list, I offer this rather remarkable report on
restriction of freedom in
young people in today's New York Times

l

Why does it always seem to be Kansas that's involved?

Stephen
