Didn't ignore it as much as missed it. OK, the important point about the 
quote for you is not that it's from Goering, but that it was said in 1947 
yet applies to 2006. It could have come from Erasmus B. Dragon for all 
you care. 

Similarly, the important thing about the quote

    Come the millennium, month 12
    In the home of greatest power
    The village idiot will come forth
    To be acclaimed the leader. 

is that it was said in 1654, not that it was said by Nostradamus.

Good point and I concede it, even if I still don't like taking advice 
from Goering.
