Subject: [tips] International encyclopedia of sexuality

http://kinseyinstitute.org/ccies/

"This project is a joint effort by The Kinsey Institute and its Library
to provide resources beyond our walls to scholars, students, and the
general public."

The encyclopedia, available at no charge on-line, is an ambitious attempt
to summarize sexual practice in 62 countries, from Argentina to Vietnam.
The project is currently incomplete, and at the moment essays exist only
for the countries bolded in the index (this does not include the USA and
Canada so far), the remainder to be provided in the next year or so.

The curious might want to check out the essay for Outer Space and
Antarctica (neither, of course a country, but why quibble).

I have not gone through the reference, but sexual practices seem to be correlated with the level of civilized domestication. As a matter of fact the more educated one is the more likely one is likely to engage in oral sex and cunninglinus.A high percentage of lesbian and gay marriages involve educated folks. And the pornographic industry probably involve a few geniuses. Some sexual practices are more Eurocentric
than Afrocentric.
