>Who are Marlin, Marx, Green, Kausler, "and so on"?
>Perhaps "distinguished" is in the eye of the student.

Melvin Marx wrote about three major texts on Learning.
Russel Geen (not Green) wrote a text on Social Psychology.
Donald Kausler wrote a text on the Psychology of Verbal learning
and memory. In addition there was Robert Boice who published
extensively on
Animal Behavior and other domestication variables.Would you believe
that I was a proof reader for Boice.(I would not take that chance
now).
Spielberger interfered with my recall of Seligman (I stand corrected).
But on a more serious note,I sense a decline in productivity with Psy
profs in Florida. Many come down here in pre-retirement and are
inclined to be laid back.
The only dude that I met at UF of some distinction was a Marxist
anthropologist-Marvin Harris.
Btw,wasn't Douglas Bernstein at some other non-Florida school? He had
the best
test bank I ever used.
