Somehow a discussion we were a having on the Cheiron (history of social science) list about Dean Keith Simonton's statistical work on historical presidential IQs migrated, mid-debate, to the TIPS list. I don't think it is worth reworking the whole thing here. It does not have much to do with teaching psychology. I'm not sure what happened, but I apologize for the interruption.
