Of course, I could only post this on the TIPS listserve, but how sad and
embarrassed we citizens of the USA should feel to actually be "United
Statesians."  We have tortured those who we have no clue whether they have
done any wrong or not.  We have gone to war for reasons we know are
completely bogus--and in the process destroyed countries and killed many
innocent people.  This comment belongs on this listserv as it fits into
the "bystander apathy" research.  Most of us realize our government is
committing egregious crimes and misdemeanors so why are we all standing by
and doing so little to intervene?  How pathetic we are.
