Miguel ---- Psychology Instructor. Temporary, nine-month, full-time position beginning August 2007. Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in Introduction to Psychology, Human Sexuality, Abnormal Psychology or Death and Dying, and possibly others; advise students; as well as opportunities to participate in department and university committees and activities. Qualifications: Minimum requirements: Master's degree in Psychology or closely related area plus advanced study toward the doctoral degree and college teaching experience (teaching assistantship experience is acceptable). Qualifications include: demonstrated potential as an outstanding teacher; excellent communication skills (both verbal and written); the ability to evaluate and advise undergraduate students; and the completion of a successful interview including a demonstration of teaching. Doctoral degree in psychology or closely related area preferred.
