Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP, Division 2 of APA), the
Society for the History of Psychology (Division 26 of APA), the National
Institute on the Teaching of Psychology, and the Kennesaw State
University Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning are excited to
announce the 6th conference in the popular "Best Practices in Teaching
Psychology" series, which started in 2002. Keynote speakers include Ludy
Benjamin, Drew Appleby, and Neil Lutsky.  Through a combination of
symposia, workshops, and poster presentations, the 2007 conference will
focus on innovative and effective strategies both on ways we start off
majors (e.g., the introductory course, a careers course) and on how we
bring closure to the major (e.g., a specially designed capstone course
or experience; a senior seminar; a history and systems course; research
or applied internships/practicum). Our target audience includes teachers
from high school, 2-year and 4-year college/university settings.  Please
