The Psychology Department at Eckerd College invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level, to begin September, 2008. Ph.D. in Psychology is required, area of specialization open. Teach seven courses per academic year (3-1-3 calendar). Both positions require teaching Introduction to Psychology, and participating in the department's two-semester Statistics and Research Design sequence. In addition, the successful candidates must be able to teach Learning/Cognition and/or Biopsychology. An additional interest in Developmental and/or Clinical Psychology is especially valued. The Psychology Department at Eckerd College is an empirically-focused discipline that actively involves students in research.
