Dear Tipsters,
I have decided that I want to talk about language for our biology
department's Darwin-fest next year and I wonder if any of you have
suggestions for good reading on the topic, especially among comparative
psychologists. I know there was some discussion on this list regarding
the exploitation of Koko and I would like to explore that in greater
depth. I've never been particularly impressed by Alex (having been
bitten by my mother's African grey more times than I would like to
remember after he said a perfectly polite "hello"). At any rate, any
suggestions from you all would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Carol
