Here the leave can be either 1 semester at 100% pay or 1 year at 50%
pay. There is a requirement that you commit to at least 1 year of
service after the leave. If the faculty member decides not to
complete that year post-leave, they are expected to pay back the
money (salary and fringe benefits) they received while on leave.
