When I taught Drugs & Human Behavior (10-12 years ago), I decided
against that one, but it's hard to recall specifically why I did so.
I think I found some minor inaccuracies and thought he spent too much
time on barbiturates (er, perhaps I should rephrase that).
I never did find a really satisfactory textbook for that course. I
settled on David Grilly's _Drugs and Human Behavior_

which was strong scientifically, but somewhat dry in format and
presentation. That was the second edition; maybe it's been spruced up
by now.
