I'd be interested in reading what tipsters tell their students about web searching and critically evaluating information found there. After telling them to look for refereed journals (how would they know), and maybe going over some of the features that might characterize pseudoscience, isn't really learning by discussing/sharing sites with the instructor that would be best? If they read something from a psychologist at some university, that doesn't necessarily suggest the content can be trusted. I think they need to consider the sources, but also need some clear criteria with which to evaluate the information. Gary
