I have to confess that I do not use Excel. I do my grades in SPSS
because I find it easier to use. It could be something with my aversion
to reading directions. J The benefits I like most from the specialized
software are 1) The system will send email reminders to participants and
researchers, 2) students can log in and to see how many credits they
have completed if they forget and 3) If a study requires prescreening,
potential participants are prescreened online before they sign up for
the study.
