I was talking to a visiting tourist and he told me that he was a prof with tenure at Carleton U.He said that he has been teaching there for 30 years.I assumed the dude had a PhD,but that he had a Masters in Geography. I was surprised by that. Is a Canadian Masters equivalent to a U.S PhD or the British D.Sc ?
